Luke was born on December 1, 2005. He is a sophomore finance major at Salisbury University in Salisbury, MD. Hailing from a family deeply rooted in motorsports history, Bunting is a third-generation racer following the legacies of his highly successful grandfather, Harold Bunting Jr. (a Northeast Dirt Modified Hall of Fame inductee), and his father, Harold “HJ” Bunting, III. His passion for racing was ignited at a young age, with vivid memories of watching races at Volusia Speedway Park in Florida as well as Georgetown Speedway and Delaware International Speedway. He began his own racing career at the Delaware International Speedway—a track where his father and grandfather collectively secured numerous championships and over 200 feature wins.
